Dye Those Farm Fresh Brown Eggs!

Farm fresh eggs. Folks will go out of their way to buy them. In fact, many people raise their own chickens just to have their own stash of fresh eggs. Many people on an acre or less!

We have raised chickens for years and every variety we have owned, all laid BROWN Eggs! Many variations of brown from nearly beige to almost chocolate colored. Speckles galore on some, not even a dot on others. Small to large.

Many double-yoked. Win-Win! Two for one!

These farm fresh little gems are the coolest.

Farm Chickens Aren't Playing Around

How many of us have lived out this scenario:

You buy 2 dozen white jumbo eggs at the grocery store. You're planning to have a beautiful display of pastel-colored eggs in your children's Easter Baskets. Of course, you need an even number so no one gets upset!

You start boiling the eggs and everything is going well, then you check again and 3 of them are cracked! Ruined! And...You're out of eggs.

Not with fresh Brown Eggs! The shells are generally thicker from happy, healthy farm chickens. You can easily boil the entire batch and not have a single one break!

The Egg Dye Kit Doesn't Mention Brown?

That's right! You're not in pastel territory anymore. Go ahead and use those same dyes and see what gorgeous brilliance they produce. Not only will they give you very deep, rich colors, but the eggs will look as if they have been hand-painted. Your children will love the colors in their Easter baskets, and be very proud of their eggs!

Those SPECKLES are the BEST!!

When it comes down to the heartiness of brown eggs vs white eggs, it really isn't in the color at all. It's in the fact that most brown eggs come from farm raised or backyard chicken breeds. As a result, they are happy, healthy, robust, and getting the nutrition they need.

Any chicken raised and well cared for in those settings will produce good, premium quality eggs!
